WE ARE TLC CHILDREN’S HOME

We are committed to rescue any newborn or baby who has been abandoned by their family, irrespective of their race or health status.

We provide responsive, temporary nurturing of up to 35 babies, with the aim of reducing risk and trauma during their critical first 1,000 days of life.

WHO IS TLC?

Since 1993, we have helped over 900 abandoned babies find forever homes. Building on our legacy, we recently moved to a new property that is better suited to the excellent services we provide our babies. It includes a baby nursery, toddler house, therapy room, volunteer cottages, staff accommodation, offices, playground, and a play-school.

I found TLC Children’s Home through their FB page and proposed to donate toys and clothes. They immediately answered favorably and welcomed us for a visit. We learned a lot on what where the real needs of the children and we would like now to continue helping on a regular basis. The kids are well nourished and loved, the facilities are clean, organized and offer a great outdoor area with playground. The ‘mothers’ and volunteers are extremely dedicated and passionate about their work. We feel that all the donations are well used and directly invested in the Home and for the Children’s making it one of the best place of its kind in Africa.
